Introduction to My Photo
Archive

Hello again, how have you been? It has been a while since my last post. Today I want to introduce a major component in Digital Humanities. For this post and the upcoming posts after, we will be looking at Archives, what they are and for experiment's sake, I will make an archive of my own.

You must be wondering what an archive is, well it is basically a collection of documents, photos, audios, videos, records, etc. that can be electronic or physical for different purposes most likely for future purposes. An example of this is when businesses keep records of their transactions and other important documents for future legal purposes, like paying taxes. Libraries keep archives or historical documents and artifacts for research and learning purposes.

The archive that I will be making will include pictures that I took over a week's time. What I did was take three pictures a day for an entire week, which I will then create a Photo Archive for. This Archive will consist mainly of photos taken while I am inside my home of random objects that I think could tell a story behind what my life has been like for the past few months especially with the pandemic still occurring.

The Photo Archive will be posted very soon after this post so I hope you will take a look at it and leave a comment if you must. But until next time, stay safe and I will talk to you next time.

~Bye~
